Established in 1985 in Toronto’s historic Old Weston Village, P.T. Montessori School began as Weston Montessori School, offering a Primary program for children aged 3½ to 6. In 1991, we expanded to include an Elementary program for students aged 6 to 12.

In 2003, we proudly adopted the name P.T. Montessori School (short for “Parent-Teacher”), reflecting the close collaboration between parents and educators that defines our community.
More than just a Montessori School
Describing P.T. Montessori in a few words has never been easy because we offer more than just an authentic Montessori education.
- Daily French instruction is integrated into both our Primary and Elementary programs.
- We are committed to nurturing the whole child, focusing not only on academics but also on character development, independence, and social responsibility.
- Our approach is built on a strong partnership between parents, teachers, and administration, working together to help each child grow into a compassionate, confident, and capable individual.
Our Vision
